When Karibuni hits the stage, it’s time for all children to join in, sing along, dance along – and travel the world!
Josephine Kronfli and Pit Budde bring a unique concept to Germany: world music for children – colorful, lively, and full of adventure.
With songs from Africa, the Americas, the Middle East, and Australia, families embark on a musical journey that makes everyone wide-eyed with excitement:
Children hop with kangaroos, sing with Native Americans, laugh about Grandpa’s stubborn donkey from Syria, or dance to Karibuni’s own version of Waka Waka.
A special trademark of Karibuni:
The songs are always performed in their original languages and in German – making distant cultures feel close and easy to explore through music.
Whether at the WDR World Children’s Day, the Folk Festival in Rudolstadt, in schools, or major concert venues:
From Hamburg to Munich, from Cologne to Berlin, even as far as Helsinki and Addis Ababa – Karibuni inspires families all around the world!
The band has already received multiple awards, including from WDR and UNICEF.
