The Orion Orchestra, featuring one of the world's best tribute bands, is making another stop in Germany. Soon, 500,000 enthusiastic fans around the globe will have celebrated this classic rock spectacle live. Inspired by Metallica's legendary “S & M” album, violins and guitars come together live on stage. Experience the new ORION stage show featuring singer Tobias Regner, who in 2006 became the first rock singer ever to win DSDS.
Symphony and Metallica have only been performed live four times worldwide. In Berlin in 1999, “Nothing Else Matters” was performed with an orchestra, the only concert in Europe. The Orion Orchestra pays tribute to this live show, which has gone down in music history, with the original musicians from the legendary Metallica S&M Germany concert on November 19, 1999, even taking part! Shortly afterwards, on December 6, the legendary Metallica album “S & M” rose to number 1 in the German charts.
The Orion Orchestra continues to caress the hard sounds of Metallica's greatest hits with symphonic arrangements, cheered on by their rock band. With attention to detail, rock meets classical music here.
100 minutes of energy, passion, impressive live music, and an elaborate stage show—a must for fans of Metallica's music.
